Wow look at us now!! A couple years back when it was you started blazing the set and I was like a kid in the candy shop and we were talking about all the dope ass material posted on this site for the last 2 and something years I think!!Today you have collaborated the masses all dope in their own rights to make this thing happen!!DJ Books much respect man you are the first but most certainly not the last I'm hoping many and all step up to the plate and bring back that real hip hop music!!

Now the Juice Crew, Gil like you they were that crew, I myself was a battle rapper so I loved the beef!! They were deadly man, Kool G and Kane alone were mayhem, Roxanne battled guys with no fear,Craig G was on his way to becoming one of the better freestylers in the game, Shan was fearless and really just had a good rapping voice, and Marley was without a doubt one of the best DJ Producers we were blessed to hear, funny how time flies by and these cats get buried in the top producer category man check the catalog!!

Now to insite you with a little history! As bad as the Juice Crew was there were a couple disses from Philly cats towards the Juice Crew one was by Cool C - Juice Crew dis and the other dis was the legendary live battle between Philly's Jaz Fresh from Crush Nation vs Big Daddy Kane now the first bout I believe took place at the After Midnight in Philly ( a popular hip hop club in the mid to late 80's the second on took place at the rooftop in New York. Both were questionable and while their are mixed opinions about who won both times, Jaz Fresh gave Kane a run for his money, the recording of the rooftop battle is circulating around somewhere, the search is on for the Aftermidnight battle!! I know I have the rooftop one somewhere and if there enough interest I will post it on my site but I just wanted to add that Philly tidbit into the equation.

Nice mixtape, but why only 160kbps?
This is just bad quality... and for a project like this there should be better quality.
