Again this was another conforming year new artist were coming out and production was getting better and better. Some of these artist who had pretty good 1 hits were okay too!! Infact the Ultimate Threee What are we gonna do about it was one of my favorite cuts it made sense and the rhythm was nice,The Awesome foursome Funky breakdown was okay I happen to like Mikossa better though, maybe because of that break at the beginning that had you shaking, cuttin, and ready to spit. It was another party rocker. I can also say that when we mention dope collabs sometimes cats forget the Pumkin and the Allstars jam that was hot at the time.

For the new headz when you listen to old school hip hop do not compare it to now there is no way to make those comparisons it's like any other topic discussed whether it be sports, women, other genre's,etc. you must keep an open mind forget anything you have heard and picture that time frame where Rolands were the hottest thing out 12's were in styleand every DJ had to have a pair any thing else would be uncivilized, Human beat boxing was in the picture, rappers were using stronger metaphors and battles were crazy,Out side jams ,rec, house parties , and block parties was the thin, popping and breaking was the thing, every block seemed to have a group. Well I can go on but for that moment put yourself there fell the music and the lyrics the rappers are boasting about, cause when it comes to Theodore,Flash Bambataa, Funky 4, and those cats before 79that's what I have to do I listen to the outside jams back before my time and I'm in amazement at some of the things that they were doing that I never knew were going on, I like yyou thought that when I started loving hip hop is when it began and that certainly isn't true, but you have to keep an open mind any thing that goes back is minus some things, and quite primitive compared to equipment and skills, these folks have paved the way and given us what my man www.jayquan.com can say the foundation.Awesome
