I rocked this jarn forever it seemed, this is classic in my book!!In fact this was one of my first CD's i purchased and it inspired me to look for more mixtapes now mind you there was these cats called the Cash Money Bros who released a mixtape back in like 93 or 94 about the time that the Scenario was out because that was the first time I had heard the Scenario remix with Hood, any way that was the first mixtape I had actually bought, before then I would just get them from the DJ's in the neighborhood!!But this was hot I liked the blend of freestyles and the ability to smoke for 60 min as Flex did on this jarn and the next 2 1-2 being the best of course!!Thanks

I remember this mix too. Unfortunately, what I remember most was is the annoying shouting. Now, I likes me some tasteful shouting, but Flex pretty much ruined it for me.

Yeah that was popular in New York where the DJ's were their own hypemen Kid Capri, Brucie B hell further back Love Bug Starski and etc. This hyped the party to the mixtape listener yes it was annoying that is why my favorite mixtape DJ was Tony Touch but today we have a different appreciation for the shouting!!!People are begging for Craig G S&S Doo Wop and yes Funk Flex!! I liked the freestyles he had some nice ones , then remembering at that time you had to dop that to hear it radios wasn't playing it so they were exclusives in fact other mixtapes was clipping bits off his album!! Technically it was the first of it's kind and we couldn't wait to see what was known as an underground treasure, sound like in the studio!!!I was still Nostalgic at that time in fact I converted the CD to cassette to play it in my walkmans, I hadn't given into CD's yet !!Imagine that!!
