DJ Irie: What's up world? This week I cooked up an action packed mix of Queens native MC's and crews. Starting off in 1983 with Mantronix and going all the way to 2005 finishing with Blaq Poet. In between: Run DMC, Marley Marl, Salt n pepa, Sweet Tee, Jungle Brothers, Intelligent Hoodlum, Black Sheep, ATCQ, Nas, Large Professor, Lost Boyz, Organized Konfusion and more. All tracks are in chronological order based on their release year so you'll get a nice feeling of how the New York borough evolved musically. Enjoy!
