INTRODUCING THE DUTCH VENOMS PT. 2: DJ BROKY B THE MAN

Amsterdam's DJ Broky B is an experienced DJ. In 1991, at age 17, he became 6th in the Dutch DMC Finals. He had been dj-ing for only a year then. In the years after that he was busy with many projects.

HIGHLIGHTS
'94/'95 radioshow Daily Operation on local radio in Amsterdam together with MC  Sranang
'96 DJ at the Subkult Fetival in Kopenhagen, Denmark
'97 finalist at the Turntablized Cut'n Scratch Competition, Amsterdam
'97 DJ at concerts of the Jungle Brothers and Organized Konfusion in Paradiso, Amsterdam
'95-'98 DJ at Bassline and B-Boy Extravaganza in Paradiso, Amsterdam
'98 DJ for Eboman
'99 finalist at the Turntablized Cut'n Scratch Competition, Amsterdam

ACTIVITIES
Broky was one of the founders of Dutch DJ-crew The Wax Wankerz.This crew made music with the turntables: turntablism From 2000 to 2004 Broky did a lot of shows with this crew. A highlight was a performance in Vredenburg, Utrecht (The Netherlands) where the WW had to make a mix of Strawinsky's Sacre Du Printemps and hip-hop beats. The same piece was conducted that night by "Het Radio Philharmonisch Orkest".
In 2003 the WW toured all over The Netherlands with dance group Ish in a show called "Kicks". This show featured 4 dancers and 3 DJ's, a rare thing to witness in theatres.
Recently Broky did a solo project with another orchestra: Het Brabants Orkest. This time he mixed Strawinsky's Firebird with drum'n bass and hip-hop.
From 1999 to 2004 Broky was part of theatre group Ish. With them he made many productions and toured across Holland. Ish performed at all prominent theatres including the Royal Theatre Carr矩n Amsterdam. The group also toured Belgium, the USA and Canada.Together with Ish and Toneelgroep Amsterdam he was in a production called Heroish. Again this production was a crossover of styles: dj-ing, dance, acting.

A party rocker with turntablism skills. This is probably the best way to describe DJ TLM.

His passionate style of DJ-ing has made him a household name in The Netherlands, where
he’s been rocking, clubs, major festivals and corporate events for the last 16 years.

Hip Hop and R&B are his main party weapons, but DJ TLM has evolved into an allround DJ
who’s sets can include anything from New Jack Swing to Electronic Dance Music,
With his experience, energetic stage presence and talent, sky’s the limit..
